Description: Do you have products or services that would be perfect to sell or display at community fairs, expos, bazaars or conferences? Or, do you want to attract new customers and partners at local business showcase or tradeshow events? Maybe you've tried it in the past and did not have the results you had hoped for. Join in as Krista interviews KBWA Member Chris Creekpaum, who has extensive experience with event booths/table sales. Chris has sold products in these types of environments for over 15 years. This class will be filled with practical ideas, steps and information that you can apply immediately.

During this KBWA tele-class, you will learn tips and skills for the following things:

  • Preparing for shows. What should you bring? What questions do you need to ask the event's coordinator? 
  • Learn what fair prices for different types of events. What can you expect to pay? You'll find out when to pass and when pricing is fair.
  • Best practices and ideas for product displays.  Learn how to attract people to your booth!
  • Where to find out about upcoming show/expo opportunities. 
  • Ideas for remote selling and handling payments. Did you know that you even can accept credit card payments quite easily?
  • How to collect customer contact information from your table. Making one sale is great, but getting repeat customers and permission to contact them again is much better!
