Description: Would you like to write a book? Perhaps you've already started working on one? Maybe you are already an author who would like to hear about book marketing strategies? If any (or all) of these apply to you, join us on Friday, September 3rd, for an informative tele-class. This class is going to be jam-packed with information, so get your note-taking supplies ready.

During this KBWA tele-class, you will learn tips and skills for the following things:

  • Plan an organize a book well, using pre-writing phase questions to ask yourself. As with anything you'd like to do well, a book requires an organized planning phase.
  • When to use research and feedback from potential readers to enhance your book, and how to invite collaboration with your project. Find out how to do research and create surveys, and who to send them to. Also, why you should ask people to endorse and/or contribute to your book.
  • Discover why you need to write a great book, AND be a great marketer. Authors sell books - marketers sell books.
  • Learn how to increase book sales with advanced marketing ideas.  I know you want to write a great book, and sell them. We'll talk about how to have the right mindset for selling books, even while you are writing.
  • Hear about various publishing options and find out which may work best for you. This can confound and confuse authors. We will layout options, and discuss their pros and cons.

You won't want to miss this training! Handout included. If you are not currently a KBWA Member (any level), please sign up to access this call.
