    Hi Joyce,

I'm not a financial expert on this, but I believe when you start out wanting business credit, banks and financial institutions will want your personal credit information at first. From what I have seen and experienced, banks and financial institutions usually want business-related information when applying for personal/mortgage loans as well. There seems to be an overlap in many ways.

Not sure if that totally answers your question or not! That is a great question, and I'd love to hear what others have to say.

Hi Joyce,  I think that having separate bank accounts helps in keeping business and personal credit divided.
